Infrastructure Facilities
Our Campus: The Agricultural college campus situated central place of Nashik at Udogi Maratha boarding campus. It spreads over 10 acres in a beautiful and serene atmosphere ideally suited for education also more than 100 acres field at Kokangaon location. The infrastructure and facilities available on campus are amongst the very best. It is a wholly self-contained campus comprising of everything that students on campus would ever require.
Physical facilities have been expanded to create an ambience conducive for academic excellence and holistic development. The college has spacious 10 departments, 5 class rooms, library, laboratories, Computer lab, seminar halls, Meeting hall, canteen and sports facilities with precious parking. College main building covers 3350 sq ft area with two floors. Administrative sections, one meeting hall, library, one seminar hall and Exam section with two lecture halls are housed in the Ground floor. Seven departments, computer lab and one lecture hall in first floor. Tree departments and one lecture hall on second floor. Various sports and games facilities contribute to the development of students in extra-curricular activities. The dynamism of the students is evident in the optimal utilization of these facilities.
Classrooms: The classrooms are designed to be compact so as to stimulate and encourage close interaction between students and faculty. They have been designed to bring together analysis with action and are augmented with integrated audio–visual teaching aids for lectures, presentations etc. class room equipped with high quality projector with proper speaker system.
Library: The spacious library houses a diverse collection of over 5000 volumes apart from subscriptions to leading national and international periodicals and journals. The audio-visual section houses an extensive range of CDROMs, audio and video tapes.
The library serves as a rich workspace for students to do research and referencing. To facilitate better referencing, the collection has been segregated into two distinct units, one for the undergraduate section and the other for the post-graduate section.
Computer Lab: The college has advance computer lab, each with a capacity to accommodate 30 students. These labs are also equipped with teaching aids such as LCD Projectors and Scanners. The College wants all its students to be conversant with modern learning aids. The entire college campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The networked systems are configured to allow individual internet access from all the computers. Students have extensive and free access to the internet for surfing as well as email. All the labs have extended working hours enabling students to work late hours.
AGRO - METEOROLOGY LAB: Weather data like sun sine, wind velosity, wind direction, humidity, evaporation rate and tempeture are recorded on daily basis.
NURSARY: There are over 100 types of ornamental, medicinal and aromatical plants are grow and multiply under by experience professor. Those plants are also available for sale for public.
CROP CAFETARIA: Small scale showcase of seasonal crops are grown in field. Which improves the knowlege of students as well as the visitor. All seasonal crops are grown in rabi and mansoon season in this area. The fresh vegetables which produced in this area also sold in near by market.
LABORATORIES: All departments have its well equipped laboratories with continues supply of water and electricity. Laboratories are fully equipped to meet the academic requirements as per the university curriculum.
SEMINAR HALL: Seminar hall having capacity of 120 students for conducting seminar of all social as well as physical improvement topics.
SPORTS ROOM / FACILITIES : The Sports facilities in the college include a large playground. Intensive training is imparted under expert guidance. Each year, students of KDSP College achieve notable distinctions, and many of them are selected for All India Inter - University and National tournaments. Facilities are provided for Athletics, Table- Tennis, Volley Ball and Kabaddi.
STUDENT HOSTEL FACILITIES :
- The hostel is 10 minutes walk from the college
- There are separate boys & girls hostel which is guarded by 24/7 security
- Both the boys & girls hostel have separate wardens as well
- The hostel rooms are on a twin sharing basis
- Food: A combination of veg & non-veg cuisine is served.
Canteen/ Cafeteria : A healthy mind can only reside in a healthy body. Hence, all cafeterias have menus that are designed by a team of professional dieticians, and offer nutritious and wholesome food to ensure a well-balanced diet. Fresh fruit juices, milkshakes, ice creams, snacks are available in these cafeteria.
