Department of Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry

The Soil Science and Agricultural chemistry department at KDSP College of agriculture, Nashik was started in the year 2006 along with establishment of college. This department has qualified & experienced staff. It is equipped with modern laboratory and instruments to conduct practicals as prescribed as per ICAR Curriculum.
Soil science and agricultural chemistry is the branch of agriculture that involves
1. The study of soil, as growing media for plants.
2. Management of soil for better crop production.
3. Analysis of soil, water, plant and fertilizer with recommendation for judicious use for highest crop productivity.
