Plant Pathology is a branch of Agriculture which is challenging, interesting and an important science that deals with the study of disease development and art of managing the disease of plants. Fully furnished Plant Pathology lab with up to date instruments is available for the students. This department has well qualified and experienced staff. Also audio visual aids are being used so as to enable the students to understand the skills of plant pathology. Mission of Plant pathology is to strengthen the students with skills in plant pathology so that they can apply multiple plant disease management strategies which threaten our food supplies. Plant Pathology is among the pioneers in revealing the vast and variable world of micro organisms and in identifying man’s friend and foes amongst them. It has and always will show how to combat many of the bad ones and how to utilize some of the good ones.
